SYNDROME carpal tunnel

DEFINITION: The carpal tunnel syndrome is a neuropathy due to irritation or compression of the median nerve as it passes through the carpal tunnel.
The intervention
It is performed under local anesthesia and takes about 20 my. You run a micro-incision at the level handheld with the next section of the transverse carpal ligament and consequent nerve decompression.

Osteoarthritis of the knee

DEFINITION: For osteoarthritis of the knee is defined as a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by the replacement of the normal degenerative cartilage with newly formed bone tissue.
The intervention
It is performed under spinal anesthesia and takes about 1 now. Are replaced tibial condyles , the hamstrings and the back surface of the patella with a prosthesis. The surgery may be elective total replacements all the articular surfaces , single compartment or when you replace the side or the media or revision when replacing a previously implanted prosthesis.
